「日本らしさ」を伝えるためイラストレーションは墨絵で描かれています。
おなじみのシーンから思わずくすっと笑ってしまうものや確かにそうだよなぁと認識を新たにするものまで
多方面から切り取られた「日本らしい」無数のインストレーションが
ギャラリー内を埋め尽くします。
年齢や、国籍を問わず、皆様に楽しんでいただける展示を企画しております。

The Art Exhibition “NIPPON”

This is the illustration exhibition of the “Japaneseness” in modern Japan.
These illustrations by wash drawing is based on awarenesses of the “Japaneseness”
through the artist Ootsuji’s experience abroad.
From typical Japanese cultures like Kimono to very funny customs,
you would be able to know further about Japanese with fresh discoveries in this exhibition.
It also might be pretty interesting for you that our gallary, renovated from an ‘granma’s’ old Japanese house, is filled with lots of the illustrations of “Japaneseness”.
